Athcarne Castle is a ruined Elizabethan castle outside the town of Duleek in County Meath, Ireland.
Built around 1590 by the Dowdall family, Athcarne Castle is a fortified house reflecting the transitional period between medieval defence and Renaissance comfort. The building features fine stone carvings and mullioned windows. It was damaged in the Confederate Wars and abandoned by the 18th century.
