Ballyheigue Castle, in Ballyheigue, County Kerry, is a ruined Tudor-gothic-revival-style mansion. It was used as a residence of the Crosbie family and later as a jail. It has been burned twice. It is currently part of a golf course.
Ballyheigue Castle was the seat of the Crosby family in north Kerry. The castle estate overlooked one of Kerry's finest beaches. The original medieval castle was replaced by a substantial mansion that fell into ruin. The atmospheric remains stand above the sweeping bay with views to Kerry Head.
