Barlings Abbey was one of nine Premonstratensian monasteries in the county of Lincolnshire, England. It was founded in 1154, as a daughter house of the Abbey of St. Mary and St. Martial in Newsham.
Founded c.1154 for Premonstratensian canons. The last abbot, Matthew Mackarell, was executed in 1537 for his involvement in the Lincolnshire Rising, a precursor to the Pilgrimage of Grace. After dissolution, the buildings were demolished. Fragmentary remains survive in farmland. Scheduled Monument.
