About

Boarstall Tower is a 14th-century moated gatehouse located in Boarstall, Buckinghamshire, England, and now, with its surrounding gardens, a National Trust property.

A 14th-century moated gatehouse, the last remnant of a larger fortified manor house. Legend connects the estate's origins to a reward for killing a wild boar in Bernwood Forest. Crossed a stone bridge of 1736 over the moat. The surrounding gardens and a rare 17th-century duck decoy are also part of the National Trust property. Grade I listed.
