About

Castell Henllys is an archaeological site near Nevern in north Pembrokeshire, Wales.

An Iron Age hillfort dating to c.500 BC, excavated extensively since the 1980s. Uniquely, four roundhouses have been reconstructed on their exact original foundations, making this the only Iron Age fort in Britain with reconstructions in situ. Located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the site offers immersive experiences including Celtic crafts and storytelling. The River Gwaun flows below the promontory.
