Dunmore Castle is a castle and National Monument located in County Galway, Ireland.

Dunmore Castle in County Kilkenny was built by the Butler family in the medieval period. The town of Dunmore received its charter in the 14th century, and the castle served as a local stronghold. Though much reduced, the remaining walls and earthworks hint at its former importance as a centre of Butler power in the region.
