Eccleshall Castle is located in Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England. It was originally built in the 13th century. It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade II* listed building.

Built c.1200 by Bishop Geoffrey de Muschamp with a licence to crenellate from King John. Replaced with a larger castle in 1305 by Bishop Walter Langton, Chancellor of England. Margaret of Anjou took refuge here after the Battle of Blore Heath in 1459. Besieged by Parliamentary forces in 1643. Grade II* listed.
