About

Amroth Castle is a Grade I listed building in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It is a castellated country house dating mainly from the 18th century built on an earlier, probably 15th century, residence, and is now a holiday venue.

A castellated mansion with medieval origins, substantially rebuilt in the Regency period and again in the 19th century. Located at Amroth on the border of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, it marks the eastern terminus of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The beach occasionally reveals stumps of a submerged prehistoric forest at low tide. Now divided into private apartments.
