Codnor Castle is a ruined 13th-century castle in Derbyshire, England. The land around Codnor came under the jurisdiction of William Peverel after the Norman Conquest. The building is registered as a Scheduled Ancient Monument a Grade II Listed Building and is officially a Building at Risk.

Built c.1200 by Henry de Grey on land held since the Norman Conquest by William Peverel. Constructed in two phases—the northern section first, then expanded southward. The Grey family (later Barons Grey of Codnor) held it until the 15th century. Fell into decay after the 16th century. A Scheduled Monument and Grade II listed Building at Risk, now under conservation by the Codnor Castle Heritage Trust.
