Elton Hall is a country house in Elton, Cambridgeshire. It has been the ancestral home of the Proby family since 1660.
Built by Sir Richard Sapcote in the 15th century, with elements from every subsequent period. The Proby family acquired it in the early 17th century and have held it since. The house incorporates 15th-century, Tudor, Jacobean, and Gothic Revival elements. Features a celebrated library with a Henry VIII prayer book and important paintings including works by Gainsborough and Constable. Open to visitors in summer.
