Kinlochaline Castle is a 15th-century Scottish tower house on the Ardtornish estate in Morvern in the Highland council area. It is also known as Caisteal an Ime because a Lady of Clan MacInnes, Dubh Chal, is said to have paid the builder with butter equal to the volume of the castle.

A 15th-century tower house in Morvern, also known as Caisteal an Ime (Castle of Butter). Four storeys with 10-foot-thick sandstone walls. Burned in 1644 during Alasdair Mac Colla's campaign, attacked again in 1679. Abandoned about 1690. Restored in the late 1990s by Historic Scotland.
