Nanteos is an 18th-century former country house in Llanbadarn-y-Creuddyn, near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales. A Grade I listed building, it is now a country house hotel. The gardens and parkland surrounding the mansion are listed on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.
An 18th-century Georgian mansion built by the Powell family c.1739 near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. The house was famous for the Nanteos Cup, a medieval mazer bowl long claimed to be the Holy Grail, brought here by monks fleeing the Dissolution. The cup was believed to have healing powers. The mansion is now a luxury hotel. Composer George Powell and writer Thomas Love Peacock had connections to the estate.
