Urquhart Castle is a ruined castle that sits beside Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. The castle is on the A82 road, 21 kilometres (13 mi) southwest of Inverness and two kilometres east of Drumnadrochit.

The visitor centre is at the top; the castle ruins are down a steep path to the loch shore. Not wheelchair accessible to the ruins themselves. The visitor centre and exhibition are accessible and have excellent views. One of the most photographed castles in Scotland. Keep an eye out for Nessie!
